In September 2018, Mersey Maritime signed the Armed Forces Covenant, pledging to support service men and women. Continuing to work closely with the Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association and Royal Navy, we are delighted to be welcoming Major (Retd) Geoff Nuzum as presenter at March’s Face-2-Face.
Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (NW RFCA)
The Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association for the North West of England and the Isle of Man (NW RFCA) is the organisation which facilitates, supports and promotes the Reserve Forces of all three Armed Services and the three Cadet organisations in the region.
In his role as Regional Employer Engagement Director, Geoff acts as an interface between the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and employers, whilst also promoting the Armed Forces Covenant and Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), to businesses across the region.
The ERS is a MoD Award that recognises businesses that are actively supporting the Defence Community by employing Service Leavers, Spouses, Veterans and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers.
Geoff’s presentation will give more of an insight into the work they do and how businesses can engage with their programmes.
We hope that you will be able to join us for what promises to be an interesting breakfast event.
