ICS Maritime Training Event

Representatives of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers will be in Liverpool November 30-December 1 to talk to interested parties about the organisation’s professional development options. Offering a full range of education modules, the ICS will be on hand to discuss its suite of courses from one-day introductory courses right through to professional qualifying examinations for Chartered shipbrokers.

While ICS maritime induction courses offer a tailored introduction to the maritime world for back office staff and industry newcomers, its diplomas allow specialism in a number of different areas, including ship operations, tanker chartering, port agency, shipping law, and insurance.

Meanwhile, ICS professional examinations represent the route to chartered status, allowing individuals to join the ICS’ international network of brokers, forwarders, agents, insurers, lawyers and other shipping service providers.
