Raft Of Business Wins For PolarisMerseyside PR firm Polaris Media is reporting a series of new business wins and deals. The engineering specialist PR firm run by journalist brothers Ben and Sam Pinnington has signed a new contract with Salford based mobile energy manufacturer Conductix Wampfler part of the global Conductix-Wampfler Group owned by the €800million turnover Delachaux Group. It has further strengthened its manufacturing client base signing a 12 month deal with €100m turnover Swedish owned Bury based safety seal manufacturer Roxtec. The Polaris team has worked with Roxtec since February 2009. Elsewhere Polaris has also landed a new deal starting from December to promote North Wales and Cheshire based transport firm Delivery Solutions (Delsol). Delsol is one of North Wales fastest growing SMEs and saw turnover surge by 20pc to £5.2m in 2011. The Polaris team first started working with Delsol in 2009. Polaris also grew its maritime division in December by winning a tender to write a report examining SMEs for trade body Mersey Maritime which promotes more than 1700 marine firms in the region. Polaris director Ben Pinnington said the firm has ambitious growth targets for 2012 and beyond. "We are determined build on our expertise in the key sectors of engineering, maritime and private business," he said. "The tough economic climate is making it even more critical for firms to vigorously promote themselves to increase their profile and sales. We cannot wait to kick start these new campaigns. We are passionate about enterprise and believe that with our knowledge of business and the media we have an immensely useful service to offer private firms." Co director Sam Pinnington said Polaris trading floor mentality is helping it win business and keep clients. "We see ourselves as a dynamo and want to help our clients and contacts win business by introducing them to each other for mutual benefit," he said. "Business is about the bottom line and we know we can help our clients win business as well as raise their profile. A key growth area for Polaris in 2012 will be the engineering and manufacturing sectors." Polaris client base also includes the UK's ‘voice of business’ the CBI, Cammell Laird and Mitchell Charlesworth one of the region’s biggest independent accountancy firms. < Back to latest news |
