Liverpool’s hi-tech business hub Sensor City, a £15m collaboration between the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University, has two upcoming events aimed at SMEs in the Liverpool city region:
Starting and Doing Business in Australia
Wednesday, June 5, 10am – 4:30pm
Run in conjunction with the Department for International Trade, the event to provide an introduction to the Australian market. The session will include a presentation from 12:30-1:30pm relevant for North West tech and creative companies that are just starting to explore their exporting options, through to mature companies that already have offices in the EU and the US.
Plus, there will be the chance for one-to-ones pre and post this main presentation, with Sydney-based solicitor, attorney, advocate and mediator, Julian Gyngell, who has helped many UK companies establish their Australian subsidiaries. Australia is a similar market place to the UK, has local companies to collaborate with and Government grant opportunities, so there’s lots of prospects to investigate.
