Grant Thornton is delighted to be working in association with The Edge and would like to invite you to join us at an interactive workshop which will focus on the barriers companies face as they scale up to achieve their potential to become a medium size business. Mike Delf, who heads up the North West Business Services Group at Grant Thornton, and has extensive experience in working with companies which are under the audit threshold with their statutory and non-statutory requirements, will lead this engaging and informative session.
Mike will be joined by colleagues on the day to help facilitate the workshop and table discussions: Gaynor Dykes leads Grant Thornton’s Growth Finance team in the North West and assists companies looking to raise up to £5m of finance, Laura Shelton works in our People and Culture team, leading our recruitment programme in the North and Steve Halsall works in our Place Analytics team, which provides incisive intelligence for business leaders, helping them to shape their location strategy and make informed commercial decisions.
During the workshop, you will participate in table discussions and exercises that will enable you to work on your business and reflect, free from the day to day distractions, on the best possible outcomes. The team will provide thought out guidance, advice and insights, whilst you explore one of the below topics:
• access to finance
• winning the talent battle
• finding the right markets for expansion
