Society of Maritime Industries

The Society of Maritime Industries is the voice of the UK’s maritime engineering and business sector promoting and supporting companies which design, build, refit and modernise ships, and supply equipment and services for all types of commercial and naval ships, ports and terminals infrastructure, offshore oil & gas, maritime security & safety, marine science and technology and marine renewable energy.

The main aims of the society are delivered through the Society of Maritime Industries six constituent associations and groups: Association of British Offshore Industries (ABOI), Association of Marine Scientific Industries (AMSI), British Maritime Equipment Association (BMEA), British Naval Equipment Association (BNEA), Maritime Security and Safety Group (MSSG) and the Ports and Terminals Group (PTG).
