Guest Presentations by:Royal HaskoningDHV, Firetrace, EAME and the Daniel Adamson Preservation Trust
At our Face-2-Face in February we announced that we’d be introducing the second in our occasional series of drawn-from-the-hat Member Presentations and opened up the guest spot for FOUR of our member companies, drawn at random to present.
We received a huge amount of submissions but the members drawn by COO of Peel Ports, Gary Hodgson were Royal HaskoningDHV, Firetrace, EAME and the Daniel Adamson Preservation Trust. Each guest had the spotlight for 10 minutes to talk about their business and the services they offer, highlighting an interesting project they’ve been involved in. How they used the time was entirely up to them.
Firetrace – a company that specialises in the design, manufacture and installations of Automatic Fire Suppression Systems, including full training and support. Tommy Crombleholme also gave some fantastic demonstrations of their products and didn’t set-off a single fire alarm!
Royal HaskoningDHV – an independent, international engineering and project management consultancy with more than 130 years’ experience, and a finalist for Engineering Company of the Year in this year’s Mersey Maritime Industry Awards.
Daniel Adamson Preservation Trust – the Trust set up to secure the future of the UK’s only surviving steam tug-tender, a vessel that is listed on the National Register of Historic Vessels.
EAME – a multi–disciplinary consultancy that provides environmental and sustainability advisory services to all sectors of industry, including maritime. In the last six years, EAME has been heavily involved with the rehabilitation and the new construction of ports in Southern Iraq.
Our next special edition member’s Face-2-Face event will be on 7 June 2016.
